Title: Paying with Paypal no longer possible?
Post by: Mr. Vegas on April 21, 2023, 02:53:13 pm
Hello, I would like to upgrade to the latest JRiver version this year as well. When it comes to payment options, I no longer have a field to pay with PayPal.
Is paying with PayPal no longer offered? Otherwise I can't buy an upgrade.

We've disabled PayPal for now.  We're doing so much business that they think we're.
Scamming them.
They won't release our funds.

Unfortunately, I have no way to buy JRiver with the specified payment options. This is extremely annoying for me personally, since I've always upgraded since version 22 to support the JRiver Project.
Too bad I have to say goodbye as a customer. Card payment is not common in Germany.

Greetings to the JRiver team

Thank you, that would be nice if I can pay with PayPal again. Unfortunately I can only pay with PayPal. So I can upgrade to 31 and support the project, after all I've been there since version 22.

Virgin Wine have had similar issues with PayPal recently, also resulting in them removing the PayPal option. Seems suicidal from PayPal to me. Bonkers.

I managed to pay via PayPal yesterday morning, presumably before you blocked it

I hope they release the funds soon …

Yeah, for a business cash is like oxygen.  I'm not impressed with how clumsily they handled this.  We've done business with them for nearly 20 years.

Paypal should be working again.  Sorry for the problem.

Works great again, just upgraded to JRiver 31 to support the project. Personally, I am very happy with JRiver and use it almost every day.
Thanks for the fast and uncomplicated service here in the JRiver forum :D.

I just paid my upgrade with paypal. Worked almost fine, but JRiver's page was broken I guess. I'll wait a while in case something happens. Is there any contact info to solve this in case I won't get my new registration code? I checked from my paypal account and the payment seems to be successful there.

It did complete.  You should have received an email.  It might be in your Spam folder.

I also just re-sent you your licenses.  You can do that for yourself from the Restore Page.
