Title: When "Ipc" zone is active (WDM driver), MC should not respond do play/pause etc
Post by: philipg on April 23, 2023, 04:57:55 am
When using the WDM driver with other applications such as Deezer, this breaks play/pause and prev/next as these appear to be absorbed by MC and don't make it to Deezer.

My suggestion for improvement is that while the "Ipc" zone is active, MC unregisters itself or passes through the media commands so that they can reach the intended player.  This makes perfect sense since MC should not be processing these events when in that mode because it causes other problems as well: e.g. if I previously played music in MC and then use Deezer, the "next" media keyboard command does not change to the next Deezer song but instead start playing the next MC song so both apps end up playing music!

Try pressing stop instead of pause.  It could be in Exclusive Mode.

Sorry for the double post.  Your advice to look at "options for Media Keys." did the trick and keys now work as expected.
