Title: Channel Change Crash
Post by: sheppy99 on May 02, 2023, 02:51:35 pm
Changing channel on live TV causes program to hang and then exit after 3rd channel change.
To recreate start live tv from guide, then change channel once and wait for sound to sync, then change again and the program crashes. V30 version doesn’t have this problem and I’ve added the Windows Defender exclusions to both versions

Which method do you use to change channel?

I am not able to reproduce.  Do you have a crash dump file?

I don’t but happy to produce one if you tell me how. I’ve reverted back to V30, but happy to help by temporarily reinstalling

Turn on logging. (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Logging)

If MC crashes, a dump file may be created in the same folder where logs are kept.  Follow "Reporting a problem" as described in the Logging wiki.  A zipped package will be produced which includes the log files and the crash dump file (if it exists).
