Installed MC 31. After opening up the program I get booted out after a minute and a message appears. " Critical Error" " The program you are using is corrupt". I've uninstalled older versions and restarted the PC. Same. No Change. What am I doing wrong?

Is your OS 32 bit?
Antivirus?

My OS is Windows 7 64bit. The MC30 does load. Just get booted out after 1 min. Then the message appears.
-
It might be a Windows 7 problem. Are you using MC 31.0.10? It's on this board.

Might be time to consider moving away from Windows 7, as it's way too old now and not getting any security updates anymore.

Using Version MC 31.0.8
So Windows 7 is my problem?

Try it.

Using Version MC 31.0.8
So Windows 7 is my problem?
Well, Windows 7 isn't actually officially supported anymore (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Windows_System_Requirements), so it's going to be a problem regardless. :P
That said, MC 31.0.10 is available like Jim said, but there's no guarantees it'll install or even work on Windows 7. Good luck. :)

Would you know which MC version worked last on Windows 7? I had MC 19 & 21 previously and had no issues. I'm asking because I have 6 restores remaining and don't want to exhaust further attempts in the event Windows 10 fails. Thank you.
-
I wouldn't worry about that, if you were to run out of restores someone from JRiver can reset it for you.
-
Installed Windows 10. MC 31 problems resolved. Life is good again. Thank you

I have 31 running on Windows 7. I have not seen any problems.
-
Me too, I'm running Windows 7 and not having any issues, but I don't 'push' things too far, just audio playback and PEQ. I find it is far more stable on Windows 7 than MC 28 used to be.

Hopefully your machine running Windows 7 is no longer connected to the internet, or else you're taking a major security risk doing so.
