When I enable "automatic change mode" for frame rate switching with JRVR, videos turn into a slide show. The debug overlay suggests it's attempting to render at over 500 frames per second. Bringing up the GUI returns frame rate to normal, but as soon as the GUI disappears video is broken again. I'm using a 6800XT with latest drivers connected to an LG C2.

Not that it helps but it is fine on my nvidia and intel setups.... You could try using "Custom" and specifying the res/hz for each of the options and see it that helps?

Oh - and the other thing that may help is use "Wait after change..." in case it's an issue with playback starting before the HDMI re-sync is done. Start with an absurdly large # like 10sec to see if it helps. If it does, then drop it down till you get issues again then bump it back up.

Thank you, but neither of those suggestions helped.

Worth a shot. Hopefully someone with an amd card can chip in.

I had "Radeon Enhanced Sync" enabled and turning it off seemed to solve the problem.

Nice Find!
