Title: Handheld Plugin
Post by: Benjamin0 on February 18, 2003, 05:15:22 am
Hi,

I use Madia Center some few weeks now, new version after new version.
Since 2 versions ( 113 and 114), there is any more handheld plugin in plugin manager ( i use it for my Archos Jukebox Multimedia 20).
I try to install the plugin call hh_portable.dll ( seems to look a handheld plugin) but nothing happened, no plugin appeared in plugin manager.

I read somewhere there is some changes in plugin because of weight of the Media center install file.
But how can I solve my problem?

thanks for the answer

Benjamin

Benjamin,

What happens when you download the Portable Drives Plugin from the following link?

I had this issue too - both my Nomad II and iPod plugins disappeared after upgrading from .104 to .114. After repeated attempts to install both, eventually the iPod appeared.  I still cannot get the Nomad II plugin to appear, even in the plugins list after a confirmation for successfull install.

SeanC,

Can you try downloading the Nomad II Plug-in again and be sure to use the link that is my previous reply.

I just tested it again and everything was fine.

The iPod should show up without a Plugin because it is integrated into MC.

Hi Steve,
I'm also using MC9 and NomadIIc.  Can't seem to get MC9 to see the Nomad (nomad screen says it sees the PC). I re-installed the plug in, using the link you supplied above.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Jonathan

Johathan,

Does the Nomad II icon appear under CD DVD/ Handhelds?

If so, what happens when you click on it? If you get an error regarding drivers, get the standalone driver for Nomad II from...

http://www.nomadworld.com/downloads/drivers/

and let me know if you are still stuck.
