Description
Amazon Music is now available to add in Items to Show for Theater View. This allows playback control and navigation similar to Prime Video. MC 31.0.17 and above in Windows.
You can navigate around with the arrow and select buttons on your remote control or keyboard. The playback control buttons on your remote (play, pause, next, previous, stop) should work as expected if there is something playing. Enter/Select on a track in a list is the same as clicking the Play icon and the right arrow is the same as clicking the "More" (3-dot) icon and will show the more menu.
Shortcut buttons:
0: Shows Playing Now overlay (up will then hide)
1: Shows Library menu
2: Toggles Like/Thumbs Up for the current track
3: Toggles Shuffle
Pressing Down when viewing the Playing Now overlay will show and allow navigation of the play queue.
Instructions
Tools > Options > Theater View > Items to Show > Add
At the bottom of the list is Amazon Music.
At first launch, use your mouse and keyboard to sign in by clicking on the "Sign In" button. Select "Keep me signed in" so that you do not have to sign in every time.
Requires the Edge Browser control. MC Options > Tree & View > Browser > Edge
It does not require the Edge Browser itself.

I don’t have Amazon Music at the bottom of the list you describe. Any ideas?

Sorry, but Amazon Music requires MC 31.0.17. It's on the Download Page (https://jriver.com/download.html).

Using Amazon Music in theater view with settings allowing HD music, the player shows that it's limited to 16 bit 44.1kHz. Using the normal Amazon music app and the WDM driver I can get 24 bit 192 kHz. Using Edge in the jriver settings. Can Amazon music in theater view do more than 16 bit 44.1kHz? If so, what settings make that happen?

Probably not. I don't think the Edge browser supports better output.

Is it possible to have hi res via WDM driver? Hi res streaming is the key feature for audio. What if you made that a separate license to help recover programming costs and gauge interest in streaming via JRiver? Is it something a 3rd party could write as a plug-in?

Will gizmo work with Amazon music?

I started with MC29 which worked well. I upgraded to 30 and found that it would not keep a playlist -- I could build one, but the next time I launched MC, it was no longer there.
I have now upgraded to 31 hoping to resolve the problem, but 31 won't play at all. It seems to have installed correctly, and I can find my library and choose a file to play. In MC it appears to be playing, but nothing plays through to my external DAC and on to the stereo. MC30 still plays through the DAC. Is there some setting I am missing either in MC or Windows to allow the MC31 version to pipe through the DAC?

Hi,
does Amazon can work with JRemote iOS?

does Amazon can work with JRemote iOS?
It only works in Theater View in MC. You can use JRemote as a remote control for Theater View. If you want to play to your phone, you probably should just use the Amazon Music app.

Ok thanks a lot for your answer.
