Title: Cover Storage Problem
Post by: The Big Labinski on June 01, 2023, 08:54:34 am
Hi, MC is doesn´t save the cover art in the flac files anymore. Any idea why?
MC 31.0.10 - Windows 11 64 Bit - Options - store in file is marked as well.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Ordinary FLAC?  I've not heard of this problem.

I just removed and re-added cover art to an album in MC31.0.13.  It worked as expected.  The cover art is stored inside the FLAC file as indicated by MC's Tag Action Window.

Are your files writable?  If they are on a NAS you might want to check their share permissions and whether or not you are mounting the share with read and write capabilities.

Hello friends, thanks for your help. They are flac files from a copied CD with Media Center.
I can't tell you what really was. After restarting MC, all these ripped files had disappeared from MC - but were present on the hard drive. I then installed build 17 and ripped the CD again. This solved the problem.
