Title: Refresh/Update/Flush Media Library?
Post by: Ben_C on February 23, 2003, 09:24:39 am
I recently deleted a lot of MP3s and re-encoded them. However, the media library does not auto-refresh, and when I imported the new files (from the same folder), the old files still showed as being available. So all of my albums have double the tracks.

How can I flush the old library, short of right clicking and deleting all of the existing entries (a lot) and doing a new import?

Cheers
-Ben :)

I wish someone would rename that option to
"Remove database entries for files that do not exist"

I know exactly what it does but the wording still makes me think twice about using it.

Perfect!

Thanks. :)

Thinking about the wording, how could you delete files that don't exist?
