Title: Sort by Track Order [SOLVED]

I have some albums for which the track order is all mixed up. Each track has the right track number but the order of listing is wrong. It may go 5, 6, 15, 11, 3 for example. Those numbers are correct for each track, but they should obviously go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on. I know I can use Library Tools > Fill track numbers from list, but that is not what I am talking about as that assigns a new track number for each track. Is there a quick fix? Thanks.

Check the state of shuffle.

Check how your view is sorted.  Little numbers at the top of the list next to field names.

Yes, thank you...under the Track # heading there is the option to 'Sort inside groups by track number.' But that only fixes it temporarily. It reverts back to mixed track order. And it only happens to a very few albums.

Update: Making the change to track numbers, closing MC, and opening it again seems to work: the correct track number sequence is now there!
