Title: Missing little arrows for one-click links
Post by: zauberklang on June 15, 2023, 12:24:54 pm
I've been using JRiver MediaCenter since 2015. I remember, years ago, there used to be little arrows in the details view next to a name, an artist or an album for a direct link to all files under that name, artist or album. A few years ago, the arrows disappeared. Without them, I have to right-click on a name, an artist or an album, then click locate and choose name, artist or album. Is there something I can do to get the arrows back? Thanks for your help.

That's a feature that can be turned on or off.  You can check it or uncheck it at:

Tools > Options > General > Features > Linkable Columns

Thank you for your reply. That's not what I meant. Look at the screenshot I'm including in this reply. Why can't I click on the artist name Michael Jackson in the details view and go directly to all albums of this artist? Why do I have to first right-click on "Michael Jackson" for the menu, then choose locate then choose artist? This is not an elegant solution. If I remember correctly, there used to be little arrows I could click on to do this.

You need to enable this per field in Manage Library Fields.

Go to Tools -> Options-> Library & Folders -> Manage Library Fields

From the list of fields select "Artist" and then check the box under "Data" that says "Show a Link Arrow"
