Title: Feature Request: Install w/Previous Settings

Would be great if these installs were true updates, putting the new files in place without attempting to modify exisiting settings.  It's a pain to reselect default media types with each update...  For those who always accept the defaults, it's not an issue -- for those who don't, after years of using the product and it's betas -- we're ready for a change  :P

Latest version supposedly does this, haven't tried it yet but it's HUGELY welcome if it works :)
