I'm sure this has been answered somewhere, but all I have found is that i need to purchase a video converter. I have a few MKV files I'd love to be able to play in JRiver. Is there a way to do so?
thank you!

Your MKVs should play. If you've imported them... take a look at the tag info to see what's in the container.... H264? mp3 aac dts audio? Shouldn't need to convert unless it's some wierd compression. MC really plays just about everything.

They won't play. Can you tell me how to look at the tag info? I'm sorry I'm a newbie to video... I think something is not enabled in my JRiver.. for ex: I do not have a tools>options>video ?
thank you in advance.
