Title: Selecting multiple tracks and clicking an empty checkbox field unchecks all
Post by: BryanC on August 02, 2023, 03:45:28 pm
Note that it only happens when the selected files have mixed values for the checkbox field.

This is opposed to most other software where multi-select + clicking an empty checkbox fills the checkbox for the selected files.

I'm seeing the same behaviour, thankfully MC is pretty quick clearing the ticks from all of the selected tracks to make it possible to reset the setting for all the tracks to "clicked".

I'm using the Tickbox to show if a track is duplicated, set to 1, or not duplicated, set to 0/empty, and to get MC to save the setting to the files I have to switch to another view to get MC to save the tags values to the relevant files

Good find.

Coming next build:
Changed: Clicking an empty checkbox field with multiple selections now changes based on the selected item (was using the first item instead).

Thanks.
