Title: Update Server

Lately when I open Media Center 9.0.105 I fail to connect with the update server. I get the following message "Failed to connect to a server. Reason"
I have checked checked out most things I can, my ADSL connection is as solid as a rock and I have no other TCP or UDP problems that I am aware of. I am running XP Pro with the firewall enabled as it always has been. The problem has only arisen this week.
Any suggestions re ports to check or any other clues will be welcomed.

Hi Colin,
We've had similar reports for the last couple of weeks, but we can't identify the problem.  Please see this thread and post any details you can.
