Title: MC31 Zones not showing on JRemote
Post by: KilburnKid on August 13, 2023, 11:53:30 am
I had this issue in previous versions of MC but it disappeared without me doing anything. When I link to my library via JRemote, I can only see 'This Device' ie the iPad or the iPhone as a Zone. I've been doing some investigation though and I think I found the error. When I visit

http://<MY IP>:52198/MCWS/v1/Playback/Zones

I get an XML error like attachment. Through process of iteration, I hid some zones in MC and eventually the XML file had no errors. This enabled JRemote to see all my zones. Problem solved apart from the zone that created an error in the XML file.

Is there any way in which I can view the xml file and correct the data to add back the zone that is causing the error?

The free Notepad++ File Editor will allow you to open and modify the XML file
