Title: I have made a mess of my picture library got a question

Howdy,
I had my auto import run too broadly on my drives and now I have 1000's of game assets and other stuff in my picture library. what I want to know is how to delete the library entrys for this stuff with out deleting the actual files .
I hope that is clear enough explanation of my problem. thank's

Select the file(s)
Press the delete key on the keyboard
Double-check the selected action in the prompt, example attached, defaults to "Remove from media library" which is what you want.
Press Enter, or click on the "Delete" button.

Job done.

oh I thought if i hit delete it would do zap both the lib entry and the file, was to afraid to try it. Well anyway thank you for the heads up. This should be pretty easy to fix.
