Title: media center icon on files

Media center icon appears on my temp,  gif, download files etc.
I had this happen when i downloaded mc[9.0.8] for first time.and I opened mc9 clicked--- file>Library>Clear Library
.At that time i did not have any songs,playlists,smartlists in mc9 library.Now that i have a library built up i don't want to clear library and loose songs and play lists
Have upgraded to [9.0.113] This will be my first attempt at loading songs on new ipod

I'm not sure I understand your question, but try a google search on setting "file associations".
