Title: JRSidecar.xml files Origin

I am using JRiver MC 31.0.43 and my question is what event triggers the JRSidecar.xml files? Can this be disabled or re-routed to a temp folder? These files appear every time I play a video regardless of how long or how small the video may be. I was unable to find an explanation in the MC 31 threads. Thanks for any help.

You can turn off sidecar support in MC's options.  Options has a search window.
