Title: No more audio [Solved]
Post by: gufau on October 08, 2023, 03:10:10 am
Hi,

I use JRiver's latest version 31 after having had the previous versions for years.
I have a RME AIO card for audio and so far everything worked well, the card was recognized in wasapi.

Since the last versions of Jiriver, I have no more sound, I can always select my card in Wasapi but no sound.

Returning to version 31.0.43 I have the sound again ...

Regards,
Guy

I think you must reinstall the drivers. rme ADI2-DAC FS had the same problem. It's an issue between MC-Windows-rme with root cause unknown.

In the case of the RME ADI-2 DAC FS and their 9827 windows drivers, there was sound with their WASAPI driver, but RME's ASIO driver was no longer visible for selection in recent MC 31 versions.  First uninstalling RME's 9827 windows drivers and then reinstalling them brought back their ASIO driver for selection and I find it works fine with MC 31.0.68.

I'd also suggest that your RME hardware have latest firmware updates, per RME recommendations, before installing the software.
