Title: YouTube in Theater View - how to login?
Post by: donlboy on October 23, 2023, 04:22:56 pm
I cannot find a way to log into my YouTube account when in Theater view. Not that it doesn't work, there is just no Login/Signin button. It works fine in Streaming/YouTube in the tree. It doesn't help to login first under Streaming then go to Theater View.

In MC's settings, check under Services.

Google blocks embedded web browsers from logging into YouTube (MC uses Edge via WebView2 or Chromium via CEF on most platforms), so you can't log into YouTube.

Thanks. Looks like Awesome Donkey is right, it's not possible to log into YouTube from Theater View. Apparently logging in under Streaming is not an embedded browser?
