Title: [Bug] External subtitles rendering bug for DVD discs

If I start playback of a BluRay disc in menu mode (the BluRay folder structure in on the hard disc), use the menus to start playback of the main feature, then use Subtitles -> Browse in the context menu to pick a ".ass" subtitle file, the subtitle is rendered fine during playback- > OK.

If I start playback of a DVD disc (the DVD folder structure is on the hard disc), use the menus to start playback of the main feature, then use Subtitles -> Browse in the context menu to pick the same ".ass" subtitle file, the subtitle is not rendered at all during playback- > NOK.

I would like to ask again for this issue to be investigated.
