Title: Archos Jukebox Studio 20 Support
Post by: Uli on February 14, 2003, 05:26:58 pm
Is Archos Studio 20 supported ?
It is neither recognized by Media Jukebox nor Media Center when plugged into my USB port. I have a Windows 98 PC and it shows up with a new drive letter in the Explorer window.
Tried Nomad Muvo, worked fine.

Hi,

usually, Archos is supported. The Jukebox is recognized by its volume name e.g. 'Jukebox'.  Using the plugin manager, it should be possible to change this volume name to the jukebox volume name.
MJ defaults to 'PortableDrive'. Whowever, there is (was) a bug in this plugin, so you can't change the volume name from here. It is necessary to dig into the registry and look for the name you see in the handheld plugin. Change this entry, or, if possible, change the volume name in your jukebox. If those two are identical, you should see your jukebox.

Good luck

Udo
