I don't have a clue why this is happening. I've tried to re-import the folder, restart the computer. I added a few songs to a large folder of music from various artists. Now, from that artist down, alphabetically, there are two of every song (but no duplicates above that artist). The actual folder on my computer doesn't have these duplicates. Every time I try to play this folder it stops if it tries to play a song duplicate. I may the changes two days ago and it is still there (I was wondering if it was just a lag, but that doesn't appear to be the case). What I don't understand is, if I re-import that folder, shouldn't that take care of it? But it doesn't.
Frustrated and don't know where to go. Anyone heard of this or have experience with it?
Thanks,
Drew

Try restoring a backup from before you added the files. MC makes automatic daily backups of the database.
