I had been using MC v.28 without any issues, but decided to upgrade to v.31 and encountered an issue with my custom Audio library view (which still works fine in v.28)
I'm in the process of digitizing my vinyl collection. I tag these FLAC files with the 'Custom' file attribute of 'Vinyl Rip'. That gives me an easy way to get to all my needle drops, or at least it used to while on MC 28.
The custom view shows up after the v.31 upgrade, but it only shows 2 (full) albums and 1 track from another. I have confirmed that the tags match and v.28 still displays all albums with this custom tag. I tried deleting and recreating the custom library view with the same results.
Any advice? ?

Custom names must match exactly, including case.

They do, and as mentioned this works perfectly on v.28
Anything else?

No.

Can you post a screenshot of the 'customize view' settings for that view, and also, show what is under the "Set rules for file display" setting?

Did you do a database backup in MC28 and restore it into MC31? That is probably the cleanest path to try to get all of your stuff moved over including views, custom fields, and of course all of your media file entries.
