I have a few old movies that have one channel ac3 audio. They play on my TV wirelessly but when I try to have the TV direct the sound to my Sonos soundbar there is no sound. I do not know if the issue is with the TV formatting the output to go to the Sonos or with the soundbar itself. One solution that would avoid future problems is to convert the 1 channel mkv file to 2 channel mkv. I have not found a way to do that. I have read that ffpmeg may be able to do that but that is not a tool I currently use. Any suggestions appreciated.
