We'll be closed after tomorrow until January 2, 2024. We're working on a new measurement system for Australia. It's based on hen's eggs and zhikken feed pellets.
Anyone have any names for the units? Say the circumference of the planet?
-
Hope you all have a nice holiday. Thanks for an excellent product.

I wish you and the entire team Happy Holidays and Peace. Be safe and enjoy your time off.

I vote for the Tical (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tical_(unit))- not only does it sound cool, but it is flexible pending on what Item you are weighing.
I also changed the title of the thread to better reflect who exactly will be napping!

We'll stick with metric, thanks. Don't need any of your gallons, ounces and cubits down here.
Have a great holiday guys

So how many inches does your TV have? ;D
Happy holidays to all!

TV in Inches! Try Metres!

That's what she said.
You can't fool me mate, Dick Smith says it's all in inches over there!

Yeah, we were discussing that recently. TV's back in the Tube days were advertised in CM eg 100cm etc. Then when flat screens starting coming out they were advertised in both cm and inches, but as they got bigger they seem to be only in inches. Weird...

I cannot express my thoughts in any other way.
So... to be repetitious...

But to the question you pose...
Circumference, that's lineal, i.e., we're talking lengths.
Hen's eggs, there is a known entity, even down under.
But zhikken feed pellets, well, they have been known to be quite amorphous.
So the question seems to become, what is the length of your typical zhikken feed pellet?
Oh, that's not an easy question. But a most excellent one to raise.
From what i've seen, the length of a zhikken feed pellet depends entirely upon multiple factors, only a few of which have been documented to date.
Looking at the research of Dr. Fortyforone, she seemed to have determined that the average length of a zhikken feed pellet is about the same as sixteen bits of Corperincus Disdirectium.
But that level of determination of the length of a zhikken feed pellet was not good enough for many.
So they asked for more resolution in future research....
And we got it...
(OK, I'll go away quietly now....)

Peace on Earth. Good will to all.
As was said in the '60's, make love not war.
And, what goes around comes around.
Or, as Marvin Gaye sang, Let's Get It On.

Listening to Christmas for Boomers by Dawgincontrol on Cloudplay. Perfect and funny.
