I'm constantly switching between crossfade and gapless when I'm listening to music. Crossfade for random tracks and gapless/standard for albums.
Is there any possibility to let MC remember settings? For instance, when I'm changing from gapless to crossfade, MC defaults crossfade period to 4 seconds, which in my taste is far to slow, so I find myself changing the value to 1 or 2 seconds each time.
It would be a great relief if MC saved the period for each setting instead of defaulting :)
Or if you don't bother with this small issue, perhaps there are a registry hack or something to change the default setting? Please let me know! :)

Hi Marty,
I'm also switching from crossfade to gapless for the same reasons as you do.
In a first (naïve) attempt I thought that it was the purpose of the [ALT] Playing mode. Pressing play for standard playing and play+[ALT] for crossfade but unfortunately it does not work like that for playlists or entire albums.
I think it's also possible to play with 'Zones' but I haven't explored this feature yet.
Anyway, that would be a nice addition (per album or playlist playing mode settings).
MC9 is already packed with nice features and we're always asking for more ! Poor JRiver folks ! :)
