Hi guys, since yesterday I installed Windows 11 22H2 and since then the function to download subtitles doesn’t work anymore. I don’t find them in the movie folder. Why is that?
Any help appreciated.

What function to download subtitles? I don't think MC does that.

It does, always did. Including on 31. With Get Movie & TV info (right click). Stopped with W11.

Could be a firewall problem.

TIL, thanks. I've never noticed the option there.

I seem to remember that OpenSubtitle API is not open to everyone anymore

Most probably, but… can’t find how to fix it. Using Kaspersky and Windows’ FW is off.
I know w11 is all about “increased safety,” but was not planning to understand it all…

It was downloading until I installed windows 11. Is there anyway a subtitle download configuration within MC?

Please uninstall Kaspersky. It's caused many problems. See the antivirus thread linked in the first post of Weird Problems in my signature.
Windows Defender is excellent.
