Title: MC31 Crashes repeatedly when opened

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 3 times now.  Previously the program would work for a short period of time before crashing, now it just crashes within seconds of being opened.

Restarting my computer (Dell XPS 8950) now takes several minutes and occasionally yields a message from Microsoft saying "Driver Power State Failure"

Try Googling that error.

Antivirus or driver problem.  Not MC.

Is it a crash (program disappears) or a freeze (program is unresponsive)?
