I have been using JRiver for several years on my Windows laptop without any problems (MC19). I have bought an iMac M3 and upgraded to MC 32 on it. When a CD is inserted into my Samsung external CD/DVD drive, Media Centre crashes and will not open again until the CD is ejected. Then Media Centre opens again as normal. I have changed the settings on the iMac for MC 32 to be opened when a CD is inserted. The library folder is on an external SSD drive and all looks good in Media Centre. The error report is long but this is shown:
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 6 Abort trap: 6
Terminating Process: Media Center 32 [6434]

I'm having the same issue.
Crash report attached.

I'll merge this with this thread: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,138041.msg957357.html#msg957357
It's probably an OS change from Apple.

MC Doesn't need the insert on CD notification.
Did you enable permission for "Removable Drives" when the system asked?
Check your Privacy and Security settings for that.

Hey Bob,
On my setup, MC has full disk access permissions and the system is set to do nothing on inserting a CD. (Attached images to confirm.)
Thanks,
Joe

Not happening on my M1 Monterey.
What's your OS and architecture?

Hey Bob,
I've got a Mac Mini M2 Pro w/32 GB running Sonoma 14.3 (23D56).
I am running out for a bit but I will try a couple more tests this afternoon and see if I can find more information. Did you see the crash report I posted above? It's also been reported to Apple so you might be able to download via xcode?
Thanks,
Joe

Just reproduced it on Sonoma 14.2.1 Intel. Checking into it.

Got it. Fixed in the next build (32.0.12).

Great news, thanks!

Good fix - thanks for the quick turnaround.

I updated to MC32 on Monday. Encountered this problem yesterday, and it was fixed this morning. This is why I update my license every year. Thanks MC team, you do exceptional work.
