Title: How to set up audio encoding conversion via dlna
Post by: furgiuele on February 02, 2024, 06:53:47 pm
Hi.
I tried connecting JRiver MC32 to my Trinnov Altitude 16 processor via dlna. But the processor only accepts a few audio encodings (aiff, flac, mp3, etc.) and so I can't play a large part of my library. In options - media - client - audio conversion I tried to set the conversion (dsd, dsf, ape -> mp3) but it doesn't work.
There is a solution?

You configure the DLNA server under Media Network. Convert selected formats. Under audio advanced
You might try converting any files that can't be played to 16 or 24 bit wave or headerless wave if your renderer is DLNA compliant and support L16.
