Title: font size in tabs

is there a way to select the font size for tabs without changing screen resolution?
'select font' in 'tree & view' works elsewhere, but in tabs only when a tab is selected.
the font in unselected tabs is about twice as big than what is set to in 'select font'.

toggling 'retina mode' off and back on fixed it. thank you.
