I have no idea exactly what I've done.
I set up a new computer, and downloaded 31 and renewed my license. Got everything going.
When setting up options, I had the bright idea to move my cover art to the external HD that holds my library. Got the message from Windows that I lacked permission to create the folder on the external HD. Okay. But then I couldn't remember the path for the original, default, location on the C drive. Tried searching in Windows explorer for various permutations of MediaUser\AppData\Roaming\JRiver\Media Center 31\Cover Art\. Nothing found. Just searching "cover art" only turns up stuff for other programs.I don't know if I obliterated the cover art on C somehow.
So in JR, I now have about half my cover art--I guess somewhere along the way somehow that got saved with the file.
Any ideas? Much obliged.

It should be in C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\J River\Media Center 31\Cover Art
You can open it directly by pasting this in the Windows Explorer address bar (or in Win->Run):
%appdata%\J River\Media Center 31\Cover Art
If you moved it to some other location in C: by mistake, you can try finding it - I use this excellent "Everything" app to quickly find anything: https://www.voidtools.com/
Just type "cover art" in the search bar of that app.

Can't find it. Thanks. though.

If I can get the old computer running and copy the file from it, how do I install it on my new computer?
Thanks.

Good tip. Excellent app. Super fast with big indexes.

Indeed :) It's good to know a few of its search keywords, it's really powerful. For instance, add "folder:" to limit results to folders only, or "size:>1GB" to find large files/folders. Also recommend turning on the "index folder size" option in Settings.

Just copy the entire folder into the same location.

Thanks, Zybex. I'll give that a try.
