Title: MC 32 on Raspberry Pi 5?
Post by: The Computer Audiophile on March 18, 2024, 12:24:49 pm
Hi Guys, just want to make sure MC 32 works on a Pi 5 before I attempt it. It's best to know before spending hours troubleshooting :~)

Does it work and does anyone have it running?

Worked fine for me.
You might need to keep track of issues regarding the pi5 specific kernel and large physical page size.
It seems like that breaks some apps. You don't need to run that option and I don't think it's the default.

I'm running MC32 on my Pi5 (Debian12-bookworm/Xfce) and it is so much better than on the Pi4. I use RealVNC to access it and it works like a charm.
