Title: Sending Audio to USB DAC & Display/Thumbnails to DLNA (Zone)
Post by: booville on April 24, 2024, 08:14:43 pm
I'm trying to play music and have the audio routed to the computer's USB and the images/thumbnails routed to my LG DLNA so artwork appears on the TV.

Either I'm doing something wrong or this is not possible to do.
(Read somewhere a long time ago about making a "zone a device" or "DLNA as a device" but nothing works.

Thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Rich.

A DLNA device can be a zone, but I don't think you can split DLNA between two output devices.

i believe i can split audio and video.  Audio is from my computer, sent to dac via usb.  Video would then be sent to another zone/dlna?
How do I do this?

The reason I'm not just running an hdmi cable direct is because the LG oled is wall-mounted with concealed wires.  I dont want an hdmi running up the wall.
