32.0.49 (5/23/2024)
1. NEW: JRVR will present SDR video as PQ/BT.2020 when running on a screen with HDR active, for improved quality over the Windows built-in conversion.
2. Changed: Reverse Geocoding will use "municipality" for [City] field, if other elements ("city", "town", or "village") are not found.
3. NEW: Added a "Combine Playlists" command to the right-click when you select multiple playlists.
4. Changed: Improved responsiveness when starting playback of a video while an audio file is fading out.
32.0.48 (5/21/2024)
1. Fixed: Text subtitles would render with their drop shadows cut-off at the beginning and end of line in some cases.
2. Changed: Reverse Geocoding data will be cached to disk files so that the next time a file with matched location will load from the cached file without hitting the server.
3. NEW: Added an MCC to show the view header menu (MCC_SHOW_VIEW_HEADER_MENU / 22045).
4. Changed: Before running Reverse Geocoding, MC will ask whether to run Update Library (from tags) if some of the selected files have deficiencies in GPS data.
5. NEW: Users can enter their own keys for Geocoding (Options > General > Online metadata).
6. Changed: Updated Czech translation (thanks Jan Boháč).
32.0.47 (5/16/2024)
1. NEW: Added a tree & view option to set the alignment of number columns.
32.0.46 (5/14/2024)
1. NEW: Reverse GeoCoding - populating image location data (country, state, city and sublocation) using GPS coordinates of images.
2. Changed: Slovak translation updated (thanks Peter Lukáč).
3. Changed: Updated libplacebo in JRVR to the latest version.
4. Changed: Added an error message pop-up when there is server error in Reverse GeoCoding.
5. Fixed: When searching on playlists accents were not handled properly.
6. Fixed: State/Province data might not be loaded properly when doing Reverse GeoCoding, for some locations.
7. Changed: During Reverse GeoCoding, if the GPS coordinates match (or are close enough) to an already processed image, we use the known data, instead of hitting the server again.
8. Changed: "Places" field will contain "Sublocation", in addition to "Country", "State/Province", and "City", when either doing Reverse GeoCoding, or loading from image tags.
32.0.45 (5/8/2024)
1. Changed: Updated the Catalan language (thanks Josep).
2. Fixed: Changing users could incorrectly issue stops to the server zones.
32.0.44 (5/2/2024)
1. Changed: Simplified Slow Motion OSD menu text.
2. NEW: The "Slow Motion Playback" right-click/context menu is enabled for videos played in (non-DirectShow) JRiver Video Engine.
3. Fixed: For videos played in (non-DirectShow) "JRiver Video Engine", slow-motion playback would not work when transitioning from normal rate to slow rate, if VideoClock setting was on.
4. NEW: Add custom file info templates file selection in Theater View Options. Can select any file placed in {Library Directory}\Templates. Pre-MC32 templates file is automatically copied there for selection.
32.0.43 (4/30/2024)
1. Fixed: VideoClock setting might not be turned back on after it was temporarily turned off due to slow-motion playback, if the user stopped playback while it was in slow-motion.
2. Fixed: Improved rendering of Unicode characters outside of the Basic Multilingual Plane.
3. Fixed: Playing video in slow-motion with mute might not work especially if VideoClock setting was initially on.
4. Fixed: Playing a new video while a video is in muted slow-motion playback might leave the new video muted too.
5. Changed: Video Slow-motion context menu will include muted slow-motion items.
6. Fixed: The Slow-motion OSD might be out of sync with the actual playback speed if the speed was set via context menu.
32.0.42 (4/27/2024)
1. Fixed: Subtitles with JRVR will be stretched properly when using anamorphic rendering.
2. Fixed: Possible crashes starting playback in build 41.

Reminder: Hoping you will tidy up the unused genres being offered for images by sorting them alphabetically and moving them as a group after the used genres.

What happened to timestamps in Theater View?
That'll be fixed in the next build, sorry about that.

This build stalls, hesitates, and such when browsing, which does not happen in Windows Explorer.
Stepped back to 32.0.39 and all is well again.
NOTE: There is no issue when browsing or playing through PANEL

Strange rendering issue for tabs upon restarting my computer and getting MC going again... Please see screenshot below and the rightmost tab.
Don't know if this is truly related to 32.0.49 or not, but I never noticed this behavior previously.
-
That started happening to me around 1.5 years ago. There is a thread on the beta board regarding these corrupted tabs. Bizarre timing for your post though, as I just posted on that thread yesterday how I had not seen it occur for a couple of months now and assumed it had been fixed. And now it pops up for you. Unfortunately, the corruption occurs entirely at random with no known cause.
The good news is that it happens infrequently - maybe once every twenty or so starts in my case. It is also super easy to fix by reloading your tabs via View/Load-Save View. Note: the menu option name is misleading (wrong really) - you're not loading/saving a View, but loading/saving a Tab layout. If you don't have a tab layout already saved, still no problem. If you restart MC your tabs will return to normal. Once you organize your tabs the way you want, then return the same menu and save the tab layout. If it happens again, just reload the saved layout… No MC restart required.

Decided finally to give JRiver a try, don't know why i haven't before but after using Audirvana, Roon on and off for years and thinking i wasn't getting value or totally what i wanted. Here i am with the trial of JRiver MC 32 and so far loving it. Easy to configure and just works.

Updating a movie's title and cover image using Get Movie and TV Info deadlocks on a read only volume.
I recently changed my movie folder to read-only so that the HTPC cannot perform destructive operations if it accesses my library. If I add new titles to the library I must change the attribute to read-write or the title/cover changes never complete. I see a message "xx changes queued" in the lower right corner of the screen and subsequent changes are ignored until I make the volume writable and the pending operations can complete.

Since the new update (32.0.49) I can't play any video files. The app tries unsuccessfully to download and install "LAV Splitter".
So, I went to GitHub and downloaded the "LAV Filters" package and installed it. I configured the Splitter app, then rebooted, thinking it would solve everything. Nope. Any ideas?

Something on your machine is preventing JRiver from downloading what it needs.

It's usually a firewall, e.g. Windows Firewall that causes issues like these.
