Title: No Deletion
Post by: MikeO on June 09, 2024, 03:42:44 am
I recently added a folder containing a lot of duplicates to the AutoImport config so as to temporarily put a series of albums into my library.

Now I want to delete them again , so I removed the folder reference from the AutoImport config and re-ran auto import

The files are still there , I am confused, I am sure this has worked in the past.

I have "Protect files from missing drives" set to yes but the drive isn't missing , I can still play music from it and I wanted it gone

Do I have to do this manually or have I found a bug ?? The settings are attached , the drive / folder in question is not in the Drive pane above.

If you use the search window and enter the directory name, you should be able to isolate what you want, then delete the files.

I know that but shouldn’t Auto Import automatically delete the missing folder path. I am pretty sure it used to.

I can manually clean up easily but …

Removing a folder from auto-import won't remove files from MC.
