I just bought a key last week.
I love the program. But...
When i rename the files. Empty Dirs are not removed even when i clicked it on.
With big lists (over 1000mp3) the program just exits.
After ripping 3 CD to mp3, i cannot see the cd anymore sometimes and i've got to reboot the whole computer.(try it out, rip a cd, when the files are still selected, remove cd and put another in)
Sometimes (mostly after 2 or 3 cd) the programs just locks up in the middle of a ripping (hangs whole pc).
I got plenty of resource problems when runneing the program.
So i have read with pleasure that er is a version 9. I have seen also in your forum that the key for version 8 works for version 9. Bad news.. IT DOES'NT.
With installation of version 9 i got a resource problem. By installation every shortcut to Media Jukebox has vanished as snow for the sun so i did it myself.
In version 8 you could see the memory resources shring with every list you rename or cd you rip.
Version 9 looks better (still testing).
Please can you help me out.
How do i get my version 9 registered (can i pay more for the upgrade, but why you mention in a previous subject on your board it is the same?)
What about the problems?
I turn the program on Windows98 on a dell inspiron 7500.

it depends on when you bought it. if you bought MJ8 before Dec 3rd 2002 it does.

First of all, post your sys info from MJ>Help>System Info.
Make sure you have latest v9 (9.0.107, I believe).
Next, read the posts (thoroughly) that are contained here (http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general;action=display;num=1044261631). It refers to v8 but applies to v9 also...it may help.
If you want to roll back to v8 (or v8 to v9) then you MUST uninstall previous version. The FAQ has more detail on switching between versions...and on the licensing.

I crashes all the time.
I'm uninstalling the whole thing, and reinstalling version v8 again.
I hope my problems are solved with a reinstall.

They will kill us ;). I only mention the thread about "anarchy" in this list, but... I live in Basel, near french (and german) frontier. Actually, within five minutes I could be in both countries. Hope, you have good memories from French and Switzerland.

Berne ,yes! I know this town.
I really liked Suisse- much easy to write than in english-
Also i had 'friends of french friends' living in Neuchatel [?]
They say it is the bigger village in Suisse ,but in fact it is a town.
I really liked this town/village.
And many may not know it ,but there is nice wines in Suisse.
Now living in a place without green ,no forest.. I really miss the green.
