Title: Can you right click to import a folder to MC?
Post by: atreides on July 21, 2024, 08:54:32 am
I miss this "feature" from running on Windows.  Is there a way to duplicate this on Linux?  To right click in your file manager on a folder and Import (not Open) to MC?

Unfortunately no, due to the multiple desktop environments and file manager apps available for each one.

If you are using gnome you can write a nautilus script and put it in: ~/.local/share/nautilus/scripts

Try this, at the command prompt:

http://localhost:52199/MCWS/v1/doc

It documents the MCWS interface.

Thanks very kindly.
This works exactly as I wanted it to.
I use Nemo file manager, and now I have a right click script to import the folder right to MC!!
