After pausing video playback when I go to resume JRiver doesn't play the same video and reverts to my audio library. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Try pause / play with just a few seconds between. Does that work?
Try enter / enter.
How are you controlling it? Keyboard, mouse, etc.
Tools > Options > General > Behavior has some settings that might help.

Thanks for the response.
Yes it works for a few seconds in between. Control via space bar primarily.
After X minutes the screen will revert to a no media state and hitting play again will start playing the audio pre-loaded.
I'm not seeing anything under the Behavior settings that seem related.

MC will stop playback at some point if the play is paused. I think that's what you're seeing.
-
now it forgets what was playing though, and I have to go back to the original media folder to play it again. Older versions at some point didn't behave that way if that's how it's supposed to function now?

In the Options Window for audio and video (advanced subsections), there is a checkbox for "stop playing after long pause" - perhaps those were inadvertently changed when you updated to the new version? I assume if those boxes are unchecked, that when media is paused it will remain that way indefinitely. Trying different combinations with those settings active/inactive may resolve your issue. It is worth a shot anyway.

thanks, but no that isn't checked. I'm going to try a full un-install and re-install see if that helps.

full uninstall of past versions and fresh install of 23 fixed it
