Title: Export 30 seconds of 10 songs in a row
Post by: MarkCoutinho on August 14, 2024, 12:28:53 pm
Hi all,

For a pop quiz I want to make an mp3 which consists of 10 selected songs, but then only the first 30 seconds of them. So all in all that mp3 would be 5 minutes.

Is this possible with MC?

Under the Play menu, there is a preview mode.

As Jim says, Preview Mode has a 30 second option.  If you want to use a play time that is not in Preview Mode or want
differing track lengths, you can set the tag Playback Range to play back a specific range for a given track.

Thanks for the information, but I knew that already. Probably I wasn't clear enough:

I want to select, say, 10 songs and export their first 30 seconds to ONE new file, so that this new file will be (in this case) 5 minutes long.

Is that possible?

You should be able to do that by outputting to Disc Writer.
