Hi All,
Yes perseverance won over and 100 CD's have been catalogued and uploaded to YADB from Sunny / Stormy Buenos Aires. The only thing is there are 100 more to do. I can buy quicker than I can type. I will finish them off back home in Ireland as I have just a week to go here.
But I'll be back and no doubt another couple of 100 CD's will be bought and catalogued.
Best Wishes

Hi Gerry,
Thanks a lot for the new CDs. I liked the web page, sounds like you are having an incredible time. Milongas means dance hall? Sounds like Buenos Aires is doing ok in spite of the bad economy. No problems with "Express Kidnappings"? I don't remember how it is said in spanish, it's where you are kidnapped, and brought to an ATM and forced to remove all your money.

Well, I'm not the author of the original post, but I am also from Buenos Aires.
We are doing somewhat better now, thanks.
"Secuestros Express" are still trendy, but going down. Either you are taken to an ATM , or your family is asked for $ 1000 and you are freed in a couple of hours... Sounds fun, eh ?
It looks that this year is gonna be better, but this country will always be a f' ing mess....
Gonzalo
PS: Milonga is not just any disco or dance hall. Its a Tango dance house. Surprised you know the word ;)
