Title: Regarding the issue with Japanese text input.
Post by: Nakmac on August 25, 2024, 06:46:43 am
I am using Media Center 32 with the Japanese version of macOS Sonoma. However, I am facing a major issue.

When I input text into the search box or edit tags using the Romaji-to-Kana-Kanji conversion system, the alphabetic characters before conversion to Japanese are input as they are. If I input directly using double-byte characters without the Romaji-to-Kana-Kanji conversion system, the input works correctly. Additionally, if I copy and paste Japanese text created in other text editors, it is input without any issues.

Since most Japanese users use the Romaji-to-Kana-Kanji conversion system, this issue causes many people to give up on using Media Center on a Mac. I kindly request that you support the Romaji-to-Kana-Kanji conversion system.
