Hello.
After the last update madVR doesn't work anymore, even though I updated madVR in appdata/user/programdata/JRiver/plugins...

Don't update madVR.  We take care of installing our own version of madVR.

But your version of madVR does not work, with the HDR passthrough option. When playing an HDR video and then an SDR, the HDR tag is passed in that too! And you have to restart JRiver. Up to the previous version of JRiver it was possible to update madVR. Why was it blocked?!?

If you use one of the madVR betas, then all but the very latest (206) has expired

You may want to try using jrvr instead
