I changed from Mac to Windows a year ago and finally I have found Media Jukebox 8 which seems to be nearly as good as iTunes on the Mac. (WinAmp and Windows Media Player are sh*t.)
But I miss two small things from iTunes usage:
1) When double clicking an item in the Windows Explorer, the entire Play now list is deleted, I'd find it better if it would use the behaviour from the options dialog (General > Behaviour).
2) It was also nice if playlists are played, not added to the Play now list. (If this will never change, then please add a button to the toolbar "Add to play now")
Another nice thing was an "undo" feature.
So far, the rest looks nice. Well done, people!

I suggest trying v9 which is now in beta testing.
It is pretty stable however.
Most of the development is being done on v9 and v8 is pretty much 'finished' so to speak with no new features to be added.
Version 9 has an 'undo' feature as you ask for.
Also, if you right click on playlists it has the option to 'play' which basically does what you want. It also has the option to 'add to playing now'.

Thanks for the note, I'll try release 9.
But the thing with the Explorer double-click is also important.

The Jury Is Still Out On That, But Prob True.

I was also looking for a way to make a doble click "add to play now" instead of "replace play now"
But I guess it's a question of preference...

I would also like for files launched from Explorer or other applications to be added to Playing Now, instead of replacing the existing list. Not all apps give you access to the Explorer right-click menu.
