Title: Customizing view in Media Network
Post by: boxer on October 11, 2024, 10:40:27 pm
I'm looking to be able to create a new category in the Customize Views section of the Media Network.
I am able to add a new field under Audio and then under "Set Rules For The Display" I create a rule for Genre and "contains" "rock" for example.

I want it to include all song that have the genre set to rock. This could include all songs that are Heavy Rock or Soft Rock and I want to also include Metal in here so I will create another rule where Genre includes Metal but that rules is AND and therefore doesn't deliver any results.

Any ideas how to work this properly?

Have a look at the second image in this old post... https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=46456.0

To get the brackets, hover your mouse around that general area where you see them in the image. You'll know you're in the right place because the cursor becomes a hyperlink hand. Click.

The rules inside the brackets become "OR" instead of "AND".

Alternatively, you can do it directly by pressing the import/export button...

Using your example, you would enter in there ([Genre]="rock" or [Genre]="metal")
