Post by: AltitudeDashboard on October 29, 2024, 04:14:33 am
I tried various methods. I am trying to update the Name tag to track#

But nothing I tried works. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Could you explain why?  It isn't clear what you want.

The wiki has a topic on tagging.  You can copy and paste tags.

I tried to link a picture previously but it didn't work
(http://)
I tried to select all tracks and for example I tried Track =tracknumber() such that the result would be Track 1, Track 2, etc

Square bracket Tag names

Eg in the Tag Window. Select Name result line

type = [Track #]

Or to add the track no to the existing [Name]

type = [Track #] - [Name]

See the Wiki for Expression Language, you can do all sorts of text and tag manipulation

Many thanks! :) This did the trick:

=[Track #]
