Title: Upgrading MJ8 to MC9
Post by: jvillami on January 31, 2003, 08:12:12 am
On Dec 10, I bought a MJ8 license that was working OK.  On Dec 19 I got an email saying that an upgrade to MC9 (if made before Jan 1st) would cost me only $7.98.

On Dec 30 or 31st, I downloaded MC9 and it didnīt recognize the old MJ8 license and never asked to pay the $7.98. I went to the registration page and it asked to pay for the full version, ignoring that I was "upgrading" from MJ8.

I tried to go back and reinstall MJ8 and now the files are not compatible because the MC9 installation changed them, so I can't use my old MJ8.

What should I do to get the "upgrade" and pay the $7.98 to make MC9 work as a full register version.

Do I have to download MC9 again? or can I use the one that I downloaded on Dec 30th.

thanks,

Make sure you have the latest version.  It's here:

We had a few problems with licensing during the transition.  I'm sorry if yours was one of those.
