Post by: Manfred on November 07, 2024, 06:08:44 am
How do you use the Media Sub Type: Music , Entertainment, compared to Concert?

Use of Media Sub Type Music: like Mozart week with different Artist and a Moderator some Background Information etc.?
Entertainment: A TV Saturday  Evening Show with different POP/Rock Artist and one or more  Moderators?

Not sure if this is the way it is designed.  But for me I have a lot of concerts as well as Blu-Ray Audio (BDMV) files.

I set them up with Concerts as "Video" with Sub type "Concert". That way It is easy for me to create a view with all my Concerts in one view.

For Blu-Ray Audio BDMV and other music files that might also have some video content I set the Media Type to "Audio" and the Media Sub Type to "Music".

This setup allows me to create a View with all music related files (Music, Blu-Ray Audio, Concerts & Music Videos) visible in a single view so I can see exactly what I have for any given group / Album etc...  But not including Movies & other non music related videos.
